As geographers we will look at the world and the local area using maps. We will also create our own maps.
As Scientists we will look at ourselves, and our needs, as well learning about the different types of animals that exist in the world.
As artists we will choose our favourite animals, sketch them and make them using different materials.
As design technologists we build an Ark that can float on water and survive any potential flood.

As people who enquire we will ask questions about other different animals, their habitats and their behaviours. We will use ICT to research animals from different areas and our environment to investigate local animals and plants.
As moral beings we will look more closely at the Old Testament and the story of Noah, understanding the messages Christians take from the story and acting on these messages in our daily lives.
As people who thirst for a knowledge of the world we will look at how animals and plants vary from country to country and are adapted to their environments.
As lifelong learners we will reflect more closely on our own feelings and beliefs. We develop strategies to deal with feelings in a positive way. As well as that we will learn about the importance of staying healthy.
