6 Let's hope we don't overstretch ourselves
Let's hope we don't overstretch ourselves. With all the developments in congested, ‘inner-city’ West Watford, easy access to an expanded stadium becomes even more of a priority. A ‘greenfield’ site would be ideal. Like most of you I do not want Watford to move from Vicarage Road. We should never forget our roots. And think of the economic effects on the town if the club leaves – devastating for jobs! Nothing wrong with redeveloping ‘the Vic’; it can still be a very nice ground once the 4th side is done and the corners filled in. Unless we were likely to need a 40,000 plus capacity stadium it does not make sense to move. The only problem is parking and this can be resolved with the new Health Campus and rail links on the old ‘brownfield’ site.

7 Next lesson: writing up your Report
Your report must be 200 – 250 words. It must be hand written on paper. Follow the guidance given Look at the marking criteria – properly! You have access to the resources in the lesson. You have 45 minutes to complete the task.
