There are only two things for which a coach or player will always find hard to forgive an official for;
Not knowing the rules
Not being in proper position to make the call.
Wrong position; lack of rules knowledge, weak mechanics / Admit it, we’ve all been there and really don’t want to go back, I hope.

11. Right Place, Right Time, Right Call mechanics
An official who is out of position is as negligent as a player who misses and important assignment. If the official misses an important call because of being out of proper position, he/she has committed the unpardonable sin of officiating.

Art 3: Similarly, contact which does not hinder the opponent from participating in normal defensive or offensive movements should be considered incidental.
Rule / A player may not use the arms, hands, hips or shoulders to force his/her way through a screen or to hold the screener and then push the screener aside in order to maintain a guarding position on an opponent.

Arm bars, elbows, use of leg or knee or backing down (offense or defense)

18. Post Play
An opponent is displaced from a legally established or obtained position.
An arm-bar is extended and displaces an opponent.
A locked and/or extended elbow displaces an opponent.
A leg or knee is used in the rear of an opponent to hold or displace.
Holding, hooking, slapping, pinning or pushing the leg or body of an opponent.
An offensive post player “backs down” and displaces the defender once that defender has obtained a legal guarding position.
