Facilitating the PBIS Leadership Team
What makes a great team? After viewing the video clip, Rule it Like Titans, have Coaches brainstorm what makes a great team. Chart responses and then have a discussion about how the Coach can facilitate a great PBIS team. If you don’t have the video clip, use the slide on the next page to have your discussion about attributes of a great team.

With your group, review the Team Membership and Roles handout. Discuss strategies you use to ensure the team has the right make-up and team roles are assigned and used.

Meeting Agenda and Minutes
Go over the two handouts for keeping minutes. Remind them of the team roles by reviewing the team roles handout and stressing the importance of creating the role of data analyst/specialist.

PBIS Action Plan Key tool to promote consistent and sustained implementation of PBIS Should be reviewed and revised at every monthly meeting One team member’s role should be to keep up with the Action Plan

Simulated practice – simulate a team meeting with assigned team roles and use of PBIS forms. Use the TIPS model to assess current successes and needs and develop a plan to address needs
