2. Introduction
This presentation discusses two different apps from Play store, Android system. One app is a guide about Rome. It is a travel guide for tourists or people who want to go there and spend the nice and good time. Second app is a language guide. The language guide improves the language skills for people who wanted to speak more then one language. Both apps are for free for Android system for mobile devices. I will compare these two apps and I will list of features of each one and some descriptions of screen shots.

3. City Guide by Italy-Triposo
This is a travel guide by Triposo in Rome.
The purpose of this app is to show interesting places, hotels or restaurants by map, and descriptions of attractions for tourism for example the Colosseum.
The app is mostly aimed at tourists and people who need help finding areas of interest nearby.
I got this app from the Play Store, it is free for Android systems.
The Application is available to check currency and weather. It also allows you to book hotel rooms or trips and automatically calculate how much you have to pay for this.
It is easy and simple to use.
Direction are provided on how to get to the place by public transport.
The App describes the history of the place with photographs working with Wikipedia site.

4. Features
This app shows hotels, restaurants or places to eat, sightseeing, banks, health (doctors or hospitals) on the map.
Shows destinations and attractions, you can research by yourself
Images of attractions and places
Photographs, to know how's the place or building looks like.
Map of transport and metro map
It is quite easy and simple to use, only what they need to do is click icon or box/button. They will take you automatically to next page.
Loads of information's about place, restaurant, hotel or city. There are loads of description to read and prices to know how much is cost the place to visit

Accommodations and options to show places around you uses navigations
Currency converter and up-date information
Weather
Direction
Booking hotels and trips
GPS recognition for pinpointing you location if you do not know where you are.

5. Triposo have up-date information about Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan and more than 40,000 destinations in 200 countries on the world.
Some items in this apps user have to pay about £ £6.00 per item. User can do the payments by credit card or phone credit, but first they have to create the account on Play store.

6. Destination list of cities on underneath Is short description about place. This screen shoot shows the distance to selected location.
Overview about place and attractions to get tourist in interest about city or country, destination.

7. Local map allowed to show you the ,,things to do,, option around you
Local map allowed to show you the ,,things to do,, option around you. This feature need have navigation option on your phone on because without it the application could not find you and located the places.
Each place from this list have own logo to identified and to know what is this place.

9. Sightseeing
Restaurant. Eat/Drink location
Museum/attraction
Map of Rome shows location of eat/drink, attractions and places to go to visit or spend the time. The pencil below the map allows draw the line of track to know how to go there, just like GPS.

10. List of destinations to choose
List of destinations to choose. This shows short description of place what the user what he become interested in and how many miles have to go there. To search destinations have different options for research. Option A to Z is for search the place from the first letter what have, list by alphabetic older. Popular option shows the most popular places to visit in Rome from example colosseum.
If you click one option form the list, app will automatic take you to the next page about place or destination of your choice. User can move the screen to see more details. For example I choice Colosseum, there are I seen link to sources of description and address and photograph.

11. Weaknesses
Download errors for some kind of phones and the large size of the application- 444 MB
Complicated to use for some users , since there is so many options on screen
No help page for users who might not know how to use the application
Not a very good contrast choice for those who find certain contrasts easier to read with.
Lots of advanced features can slow down devices and make the app less functional.

12. Strengths
Has advanced search features so that people can search for something specific
Contains links to websites so that users can get more information about the place they have found
GPS locating for accuracy in your current location
Pictures showing each area so that people can see exactly what area they are looking for.

13. Accessibility and usability
Each image has subtitles useful images, with clear and good resolution, person with sight problem want to see the picture clear. Small pictures that person probably would not see
White background is simple and easy to see and read the text, good feature for person people who are death
Big screen, user can change the size or reduce and increase screen by finger
Font size is quite good without any complications, user should be satisfied because font is big enough. People with dyslectic should have no problem with that.
No voice recognition, this app is not for people with disability, person who cannot move arm or hands will need person for help using this app. This app it is not for blind people, without voice they cannot do anything.
No text to speech, people who have struggle with moving must use the text to speech feature.

14. Language City Guide- Babbel
This guide can be used to learn different languages for example German, Spanish or Italian.
The purpose of this app is to get to know other languages by people who want to speak more then one language.
I got this app for free from the Play Store for Android system.
The design is easy and simple to use, as it is not complicated.
The app is available for different devices for example tablet or PC.
User have to pay for lessons, one month costs about £8.95.

15. Features Many languages from the list to choose

Chat feature allowing online conversations.
Audio lessons, learner can learn by repeating and learn by clicking audio button, lessons is 15 minutes long
Learning new vocabulary by free
At the first step you will choose the language what you want to learn and why you want it to learn, then have to choose the correct solution to the sentence or match each word to correct definition. This app is just like quiz

Learner can learn language by pictures. This is much helpful because learner can be sure about meaning of the word
Review list, the things what they should know and remember
Audio lessons
Time of learning should be easy and simple, you can hear the word and try repeat by clicking the speaker icon/symbol
Learning new vocabulary and grammar. Learn the sentences in different language.

18. User can choose what topics they want to learn and practice like learning about how to say your name, talking about feelings, colours or introduce yourself.
They are allowed to do conversations with other people in different languages to do some practice and get more language skills.
Practical conversation to pretend you are chatting with person on language what you want to know and want to speak.
Makes own decision what you want to do.

19. Weakness
Paid extras, user cannot learn more than one lesson. This is the negative point of this app, people want to use this application without payments.
Without internet connection user cannot access to the app
No strong enough vocabulary, the description of this app describe the up-date information's but these vocabulary in this app is unnecessary in real life or may seem complex for a beginner.
Voice and listening lessons are indistinct, with mistakes and errors by pronouncing the word or sentences

20. Strengths Many languages to choose from the list
Activities and games which will help people learn the languages
Good use of pictures to allow people to remember and link what they have learnt to it
Simulation to chat to so that you can easily practice how to speak the language with others.

21. Accessibility and Usability
Quite small font of text, people who are blind or have problems with reading will have problems to read the text. People with dyslectic will have struggle to read and use this app.
Black colour of font on light background it is good for person who has poor sight or colour blind
No tags and screen reader
Pictures are a part of learning, it is good for people who has learning difficulties.
Voice option, person can listen the lessons by clicking speakers icon, good option for person who have struggle with seen or read
List of languages, person can scroll list of options by finger it is easy and simple
Quizzes, games, fun to learn for people with learning difficulties who have problems with memory or with dyslectic
Holiday information, details and calculation the price
No voice to speech, this is hard for people who are death or with disabilities.
