Today we are going to look at:
Newspapers and newspaper articles. Try to create a newspaper article.

There are two main types of newspaper:
TABLOID - The Sun (Small pages, short stories and photographs. Stories are often about celebrities and are sensational and unreliable.) BROADSHEET - The Guardian (Large pages, longer stories and very few pictures. Stories are often about serious issues and are more fact based and formal.)

Examples of Tabloid and Broadsheet

All newspapers have: A Logo – Newspaper name.
Date and price – When it was printed and how much it costs to buy. A Headline – Main story. Columns – How the writing is set out. And can include: Pictures and captions – picture to do with the story and short writing explaining it. An advert or info on what’s inside the paper- Advertising for a product or some of the other storylines.

Using this format… Create a tabloid newspaper front page article .
Remember to include a Newspaper name, Headline, Columns of writing, a picture – anything else to make it look like a real newspaper!
