2 Driving and texting has become the most distracted driving for multiple people especially for teenagers. “Pride is a wonderful, terrible thing, a seed that bears two vines, life and death,” being able to drive is a wonderful thing however; it possesses dangers too such as taking young lives. Everyone, whether you are an adult or teenager, you need keep your attention on the road, not on cell phones or mobile devices. Imagine destroying your dream car! Would you like that? I hope not!

4 What Are the Impacts of Driving and Texting?
There are many impacts this type of impaired driving could have but the most obvious ones are: not detecting and responding to road signs and not being able to identify hazards on the road. Just keep in mind that along with you, other people will be hurt too so take care of yourself and others! It will be huge favour.

Absolutely! In many countries texting and driving is banned. If someone is caught then, that person will face consequences such as getting tickets, going to the court or having their driver’s licence taken away. What countries ban this type of impaired driving?

8 Statistics and Facts If you are texting and driving, you are 23 times more likely to be involved in an accident. 15-19 year olds make up the largest proportion of distracted drivers. According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, texting while driving kills 11 teens each day

9 Teen drivers are four times more likely than adults to get into car crashes when talking or texting on a cell phone. A teen driver riding with one other passenger doubles the risk of being involved in a fatal car crash. With two or more passengers, a fatal accident is 5x as likely. It is estimated that at least 23% of all car accidents each year involve cell phone use – that's 1.3 million crashes.
