Assistive technology and accessible housing
VISION A collaboration platform for research-, development- and innovation that promotes currently accessible housing and assistive technology services so that all people, regardless disabilities or age, can live independent and safe lives.
2
Why we need AllAgeHub We need innovative thinking in order to meet the future needs in health- and social care for the elderly and people with disabilities. Products and services do not always correspond to the users’ needs. The municipalities need support in implementing assistive technology. Companies wish to develop products and services together with the target group. We should take advantage of the existing knowledge, as well as develop new knowledge regarding assistive technology and accessible housing.

Before AllAgeHub The show room Vision Bo Äldre was inaugurated in The City of Gothenburg during 2009. The municipalities and other social actors needs of cooperation regarding assistive technology and accessible housing are identified. Preliminary study done by GR resulted in a document describing a common vision and applications for project funding. The construction of AllAgeHub started in 2017.
