2 Conduct a series of interviews with people who you believe are managers and leaders in the school or at home. Be prepared to bring the results abck next lesson. Discuss difference between interview and questionnaire. Qualitative VS Quantitative. Apply the results to the rest of the theory and models. At each stage of the lesson introduce a new concept and allow students to place some of the people they interviewed into the model. Discuss with those around them.

14 Task New managers have been appointed at the your local day nursery and out of school club to try to turn around the business with a new strategy. To what extent does the success of a new strategy depend on the leader? Justify your answer with reference to other nursery management programmes or any other businesses that you know.
