What is it? (Average Salaries for Faculty and Graduate Assistants) What isn’t it? (Average Salaries for Staff / ESOC code) Average salaries by CIP code (6 digit – detailed), Carnegie classification (R1, R2, R3), geographic region, Rank(Full Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, etc.), and Tenure Status(tenured & on track vs. non-tenured). One tool of several necessary for benchmarking UI personnel. CUPA- HR provides additional staff benchmarking. Give Dale a chance to introduce the topic, how he wants OKST to be used, etc.

Carnegie Designations of “Peers” In , 107 institutions participated including all 15 of our official peers, but not including local state schools (No ISU, BSU, LCSC) 137 Universities invited to participate Includes R1, R2 schools Double check to make sure there’s not an R3 on there somewhere

UI Algorithm Pull faculty and graduate assistants from IR maintained dataset (see BANNER job NWREDMP) for Fall 201X Clean data / meet OKST data definitions for GA’s / Faculty Fit in academic CIP Code? (Exclude Extension, Library Science, etc.) Include Tenure-Track and FT Non-Tenure Track Faculty Salary based on Academic Year? If not, then standardize to AY Graduate Assistants as .5 FTE (half-time) Submit! Check to make sure it’s ay
