Plural nouns When there are 2 or more of an object, we call it ‘plural’. We add ‘s’ after most nouns. e.g. a banana a pear bananas pears

Plural nouns We add ‘es’ after nouns ending in ‘o’, ‘s’, ‘x’, ‘ch’ and ‘sh’. e.g. a mango a glass a box mangoes glasses boxes

Plural nouns We add ‘es’ after nouns ending in ‘o’, ‘s’, ‘x’, ‘ch’ and ‘sh’. e.g. a peach a bush peaches bushes

Plural nouns We change ‘y’ to ‘ies’ when the nouns ending in a consonant (not a, e, i, o, u) and ‘y’ e.g. a cherry a strawberry cherries strawberries
