A safer learning environment is more than safer recruitment of staff, and it is also more than protecting children and adults from harm. 6 How can you bring Cultural Diversity into your classroom?
Developing Cultural Diversity in Teaching: What is Cultural Diversity? The phrase means a range of different societies or people with different origins, religions and traditions all living and interacting together. To be culturally diverse is to accept and celebrate difference. For you as tutors that means finding a way of ‘bringing the world into the classroom’. To reflect the diversity of our community and to enrich the learning experience of all our learners as well as creating an inclusive learning environment. How can you bring Cultural Diversity into your classroom? You may do this already, please share your experiences.
