Who can install them? REDCap administrators only.
Are IT staff required to install a module? No.
Who can use them? Any REDCap user.
How are they downloaded? An administrator will download it from the REDCap External Module Repository, then enable it in REDCap.
Can any REDCap plugin/hook programmer get their module into the module repository? Yes. There will be a submission process to vet and test submitted modules..
