A few weeks before graduation Charlie sheen was expelled from high school for bad grades and poor attendance.

6 CHARLIE WAS A GOOD PERSON Despite HIS MISTAKES
Charlie Sheen has had more than his share of problems over the years, but his former costar Holland Taylor says fans shouldn't judge him for his past mistakes. "Anybody who's spent time with Charlie likes him," the Two and a Half Men actress tells Parade magazine in a new interview. "He's as smart a person as you'll ever find.“ "He grew up with a movie star father [Martin Sheen] who was gallivanting around the world," the Tony-nominated TV and film vet explains. "[Today] Martin is a big AA person and very public about it. But back in the day, Martin was a young, crazy, brilliant talent -- always gone, always traveling, sometimes bringing his kids along. It was just a madhouse way to grow up.“ On top of that, she tells Parade, "Charlie himself was a teenage movie star with hundreds of thousands of dollars in his pocket at any given moment. It sounds great to a lot of people, but it's not that easy to mature and to have a regular life." Taylor, 70, says she understands why successful young stars go a little wild after a while. "Why wouldn't they?" she quips. "If you grow up in [Hollywood], you're going to be affected by the atmosphere. And if you go into acting a young age, watch out.“

7 THE ENVIRONMENT The environment and Charlie Sheen’s surroundings greatly influenced his behavior and actions that affected him throughout his entire life. He grew up in Hollywood and in a lavish lifestyle where money was at his disposal. Even though many stars can adapt to this lifestyle, others such as Charlie Sheen, go down the wrong path and suffer from Even though he had a good support system at home and well adjusted family members- he as an individual was influenced differently by the environment that he lived in. He was influenced by bad social behaviors that are all learned by his environment. Skinner’s theory of Behaviorism: Skinner believed that most problems—including war and crime (“bad behaviors”), are just human behaviors that can be shaped through learning. They are all learned behaviors. Behavior is learned from the practices of society

8 ADULTHOOD In 1990, Sheen proposed to actress Kelly Preston but their engagement was called off because sheen accidently shot her. After that sheen checked onto rehab. In 1995, sheen married model donna peele after meeting on the sets of a commercial. They got divorced within a year. His downward spiral continued the following year when his ex-girlfriend Brittany Ashland filed charges claiming that he physically abused her. He was later charged with misdemeanor battery to which he pleaded no contest and was given a year's suspended sentence, two years' probation and a $2,800 fine. He finally hit rock bottom in May 1998 when he was hospitalized in Thousand Oaks, California, following a near-fatal drug overdose. Later that month, he was ordered back to the drug rehab center, which he had previously left after one day.

9 Adulthood Charlie's film career began to suffer as well. He starred in a series of box office flops that included The Arrival (1996)and Shadow Conspiracy (1997). However as the 1990s came to end, so did Charlie's string of bad luck. In 1998 Charlie Sheen suffered a stoke from a drug and booze binge and soon after In 2000, Charlie, now clean and sober, was chosen to replace Michael J. Fox on the ABC hit sitcom Spin City (1996). Though his stint lasted only two seasons, Charlie's performance caught the eye of CBS executives who in 2003 were looking for an established star to help carry their Monday night lineup of sitcoms that included Everybody Loves Raymond (1996).

10 Charlie Sheen and the prostitutes
Charlie was revealed to be one of the clients of Heidi Fleiss's escort agency. When Heidi Fleiss was busted for running a high-class  prostitution ring in the early 1990s, the "Hollywood madam to the stars" refused to release any of the names in her little black book of clients. But there was one name that leaked to the public: Charlie Sheen. At the trial for his divorce from Donna Peele, while under oath he admitted to spending nearly $50,000 on 27 of Fleiss' $2,500-a-night prostitutes. He has even admitted to spending $15,000 for oral sex. And has admittedly spent $1.6 MILLION on prostitutes in just one year following HIV diagnosis

11 LIST OF BAD CONTINUED BEHAVIOR..
March 2005: Porn star and escort Chloe Jones tells the National Enquirer Sheen was among her clients and had paid her $15,000 for oral sex. Sheen's agent disputes the claim. April 2006: In order to obtain a restraining order, Richards signs a declaration stating that in the middle of an argument on Dec. 30, 2005, Charlie pushed and shoved her while she was holding their daughter Lola. According to the declaration, Charlie pointed his finger at her and screamed, "I hope you f---ing die, b----." March 2008: Jason Itzler claims he sent Ashley Dupre (the same Dupre who later had a relationship with Eliot Spitzer) and another girl to have a threesome with Sheen for $20,000. Sheen's reps deny the report. February 2010: Sheen announces he's voluntarily checking into rehab and takes time off from Two and a Half Men. In May, he signs a two-year deal that will pay him $1.8 million per episode. October 2010: Sheen is reportedly removed from The Plaza Hotel in New York City after causing a disturbance, and allegedly doing $7,000 worth of damage to the room. Richards, who was also staying at the hotel, separately from Sheen, accompanies him to the hospital. His rep says Sheen had an "allergic reaction" to medicine. November 2010: Capri Anderson, an adult film star who was with Sheen at The Plaza, sues him, claiming he choked her. Sheen countersues Anderson, claiming she tried to extort him. Sheen is not prosecuted for the incident at The Plaza Hotel. January 2011: Sheen goes on a reported bender in Las Vegas — where he allegedly parties with a group of women that includes porn stars, strippers, and Michelle "Bombshell" McGee — but returns in time for work on Two and a Half Men

12 Where is Charlie sheen at this point in his life?
At this point in Charlie Sheen’s life – after all the events that had happened we would put him on Safety because he had given up his custody of his kids he had with Brook Mueller to his ex-wife Denise Richards. Even before the HIV diagnosis he hadn’t had good health due to all the drugs & alcohol use, but despite all this including getting fired from “Two and a Half Men” he still lived a comfortable lifestyle because he had a lot of money and had the resources to do so.

13 Behaviorism : b.f. skinner & Watson
The law of effect basically states that “responses that produce a satisfying effect in a particular situation become more likely to occur again in that situation, and responses that produce a discomforting effect become less likely to occur again in that situation.” In relation to Charlie Sheen’s life, the law of effect comes into play with his drug use, gambling and alcohol abuse. He felt satisfied and pleasure when he was high and that’s all he cared about, was the feeling of euphoria. Which led to repetitive use of the substances. Thoughts, emotions, and other internal events, are all characteristics of the organism, CAUSED by environmental events .

14 In 2002, he got married to actress/model denise richards after meeting her on the set of “good advice”. He was 36 at the time and started dating each other officially after denise acted on his show “spin city”. They had 2 children together and by the time richards was pregnant with the second baby in 2005 she filed for divorce because sheen was a gambler, abused prescription drugs and was violent towards her. In 2007, he married real estate investor brooke mueller in a small ceremony in la they had twin sons and after 3 years of marriage, mueller called it off stating they sheen tried to kill her during one of their fights. Dec 2009: Sheen is arrested in aspen, colorado on domestic violence charges after an alleged altercation with third wife brooke mueller the mother of his twins.

15 Lights… Camera... Action! Finally in 2000 that he appeared in a role on television in the series called ‘Spin City’. His performance was critically acclaimed and he received a Golden Globe for it. In 2003, he got the biggest role of his acting career in CBS’s ‘Two and a Half Men’. He worked in the series for almost 8 years and received many Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. The series had put him on the top of highest paid television actors' list. It was in 2011 that Sheen was dismissed from the show because of his erratic behavior, which was a result of his drugs and alcohol induced lifestyle that was extremely in the public eye Sheen had always been in the limelight for his alcoholism and drug abuse issues. He had been married twice and is known for abusing his women. He was fired from the show after criticizing creator Chuck Lorre.

16 Charlie sheen video : “Abnormal behavior”
Charlie Sheen displayed many abnormal behaviors that were probably due because even though society thought he was crazy, he was actually really depressed from his HIV diagnosis – and he was depressed because close friends that he confided in extorted 10 million dollars and so this led to his alcohol and drug abuse – leading to this abnormal behavior.

17 Hiv positive Charlie Sheen said that being diagnosed with HIV was a “huge wake up call” for Charlie Sheen. His dad, Martin Sheen, played a huge role in helping Charlie “pull himself together” for his kids.. “Charlie was very depressed after he received the news about his HIV positive status. It wasn’t until he had a lengthy discussion with his father, Martin Sheen, that he chose to pull himself together for his kids who would be better off knowing they had a stable father in their life. Charlie went public with the news that he’s HIV positive on Nov. 17 on The Today Show. He stated, “I’m here to admit that I am in fact HIV-positive.” He also went on to say that he’s tired of all the rumors: “I have to put an end to these truths.” “It started with crushing headaches and sweating the bed 2-3 nights — I thought it was over.” He also said: “It’s a hard three letters to absorb, you know? It’s a turning point in one’s life.”

18 Charlie Sheen being sued by his ex-fiancée (2015)
Charlie Sheen's former fiancée, scottline ross, has filed a lawsuit accusing him of assault, battery, false imprisonment and failure to disclose to her that he was HIV-positive. Sheen told NBC's "Today" show on November 17 that he was diagnosed as HIV-positive about four years ago and that a few people who knew his status were demanding money from him to keep the secret. Ross, an adult film actress known as Brett Rossi, and Sheen were in a relationship from November 2013 to October 2014, according to the suit. $10,000 for sex, lawsuit alleges Court documents filed by Ross say they first met "for the sole purpose of engaging in sex" and that "he would pay her $10,000." Ross said what started as a sex-for-hire relationship developed into a romantic relationship and she believed "that they would eventually be getting married."

19 Ross said Sheen "became a different person" while drinking to excess and doing drugs, becoming "violent and abusive." The lawsuit alleges that, on several occasions, Sheen locked Ross in the bathroom, pushed her, dragged her by the arms, placed her in a chokehold and pointed an unloaded gun at her and repeatedly pulled the trigger. Relationship allegedly ended with text message Ross said she found out Sheen was HIV-positive when she discovered medication in a cabinet. Sheen then admitted his condition, the lawsuit alleges. Ross said she and Sheen had already had sex several times.

20 BEHAVIROAL PERSPECTIVE
Charlie's surrounding greatly influenced his behavior fame and the negative influences in ones environment are sometimes detrimental. Despite the intelligence and many talents one can possess it may still not be enough for them to stay on a straight path living a normal life. Charlie was surrounded by women, Hollywood parties, drugs and alcohol. He had large amounts of money at his disposal and could get anything or anyone he wanted. He did not live by any rules except for his own. Although the business aspect of Charlie’s life was flawless. An exceptional actor , always punctual and never forgetting his lines. Even when Charlie was fired from “Two and a Half Men” he still flourished business wise. Starring in an FX series “Anger Management” which also starred his father Martin and brother Ramon Estevez.

21 MOVING HIM FORWARD!!!! When Charlie was diagnosed four years ago he plummeted to Safety, we saw examples of this in his erratic behavior and his downward spiral that was evident in the media – unannounced to everyone he was dealing with a severe medical diagnosis (HIV), which caused an increase in his drug and alcohol use. Charlie recently said: “I was so depressed by the condition I was in, I was doing too many drugs, I was drinking too much!”

22 Plan For charlie The best way to move Charlie forward is for him to be a mentor for other people with HIV/AIDS diagnosis and to educate and share his story to young people about the risks and consequences associated with behaviors that lead to these diseases. He would need the humanistic approach of therapy and focus on his many good qualities to move him forward from this terrible time In Humanistic therapy approach – therapists tends to be supportive, nondirective and empathetic, and gives unconditional positive regard towards the patient (Carl Rogers) This approach emphasizes peoples capacity to make rational choices and develop to their maxim potential This is the psychological approach we believe would be best to move Charlie Sheen forward
