Food They ate a lot of greens and a lot of meat.
For example some meats they ate are deer, elk, buffalo, and antelope. Some greens they ate were seed , roots, nuts, bulbs, and berries. All of these were hunted and grown by the Shoshone-Paiute. Now a days we don’t have to hunt for food. Today we have grocery stores and restaurants.

Tools Tools back then were made out of wood, mud, stone, crushed seeds and horns. Some things they made with these materials included bows, shields shovels, and poison tipped arrows. The Shoshone-Paiute used different types of wood like juniper, pine, oak which are commonly found in Idaho. The Shoshone-Paiute were actually known for poison tipped arrows which is used to hunt. In the they did not have power drills. The Shoshone would be thrilled to use this to build there homes.

Clothing The Shoshone-Paiute clothing was made out of thick, furry animal hide. The Shoshone-Paiute did not wear thick animal skin in the summer. Instead they used thin hide like deer and prairie dog hide. In the winter they wore more thick hide like buffalo and elk hide. These were perfect for the harsh cold. The unique tribe rarely wore shoes. They only wore shoes in the winter. The shoes they wore were called moccasins. The ladies wore hats called bonnets.

250 years ago would have been different
250 years ago would have been different. Our first reason is there were no electronics so life was hard for them. If there was electronics it could of saved lives. They did not have electronic weapons. They also didn’t have vehicles. Life was so much harder back then and we are so lucky to have Scientist and inventors today.
