Samuel Himelstein, Ph.D. Sam Himelstein, Ph.D. is passionate about serving high-risk and incarcerated youth through the practice of mindfulness and other emotional intelligence skills. He has found much success offering individual, group, and family-based counseling sessions in Downtown Oakland, speaking at conferences nationally, and training clinicians, teachers, and other healers how to effectively build authentic relationships with adolescents through his training institute, the Center for Adolescent Studies. Sam pursued and received his PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2011 from ITP and is the author and co-author of two books. You can find him at his website:

Mark Allan Kaplan, Ph.D. For over a year now, Mark Allan Kaplan has been successfully producing a monthly groundbreaking series for the much-acclaimed Integral Cinema Studio. In this remarkable exploration, Mark walks us through all of the main elements of Integral theory—using some of our favorite movies to illustrate the basics of the Integral approach, while noting how each of these elements has shaped the cinema experience since the invention of film itself. One featured audio session with Mark and Ken Wilbur, offers an in-depth look at one of Integral Life's longest-running series, Integral Cinema Studio. Mark Allan Kaplan, Ph.D., is an independent award-winning filmmaker and an integral media consultant, scholar, and practitioner. Mark Forman, Ph.D. Mark Forman, Ph.D., alumnus of ITP since 2010, is a licensed clinical psychologist with fifteen years experience working with individuals, couples, teens, and families. Mark has found success as the Clinical Director of Life Design Centre and Lead Trainer of the Certified Integral Psychotherapist (CIT) Training Program. He is currently teaching courses in Integral Theory at Sofia. His text – A Guide to Integral Psychotherapy Complexity, Integration, and Spirituality in Practice – is one of the seminal works in the field of Integral Psychotherapy. Mark A. Collin, M.A.,MFT Mark A. Collin, M.A., MFT, is a 1976 ITP alumnus who has reached success as the Author of The Toolbox Project and Founder of Dovetail Learning, Inc. Mark is a visionary social-entrepreneur and hands-on builder of new ideas, and has worked in and with schools to develop and teach TOOLBOX™ (tools for learning, tools for life) since 1993. He has been teaching, studying, and practicing in the field of humanistic, Jungian, and transpersonal psychology for over 37 years. Chuck Fisher, Ph.D. Chuck Fisher, PhD, is a 1986 ITP alumnus who has reached success as Executive Director of Dovetail Learning, Inc. In partnership with Mark Collin, he has been both author and developer of the TOOLBOX™ project since Chuck has over 30 years of experience as a counselor and psychologist in grades K-12 and graduate education. He has developed, taught, and advised on social and emotional learning (SEL) in private and public schools and been a trainer for both PassageWorks Institute and the HeartMath Institute. Elisha Goldstein, Ph.D. Elisha Goldstein, Ph.D. is a 2006 ITP alumnus. Not only does he work as a psychologist, author and speaker, but he is co-founder of The Center for Mindful Living in West Los Angeles and co-developer of the popular CALM (Connecting Adolescents to Learning Mindfulness) program with his wife and psychologist Stefanie Goldstein, Ph.D. Elisha, who synthesizes traditional psychotherapy with a progressive integration of mindfulness to achieve mental and emotional healing, contends that we have the power to transform our traumas and habitual patterns that keep us stuck in perpetual cycles of stress, anxiety, depression, or addiction and step into greater freedom and peace. Jeff Haller, Ph.D. Jeff Haller, Ph.D. is a 1988 ITP alumnus from Seattle, WA who found success in 1983 with his company Inside Moves, which focused on movement as therapy. Classes utilized Aikido, Tai Chi, the Feldenkrais Method® and Yoga that were integrated with meditation.
