1 Cell Structure and Function Independent Organelles.
The objective of This study were to study cells using stains and photography (Proscopes with hoox light microscopes).

2 Cheek cell’s have a nucleus and a cytoplasm and cell membrane.

3 Elodea the Cell wall protects the cell.
3 Images of Elodea the Cell wall protects the cell. Chloroplasts contain chlorophyll in the cell which makes the cell appear green.

4 Paramecium Large Nucleus Small nucleus

5 MORE Paramecium

6 Rotifer Rotifer

7 Nucleolus Nucleus with a nucleolus of an onion cell.
The nucleus controls all cell activites with DNA The nucleolus is where RNA is made. RNA is DNA’s messenger Nucleolus Onion cell nucleolus this is the site where the RNA is produced. Diffusion is the movement of molecules from a high to low concentration. Here water diffused across the membrane to the outside of the cell. The salt caused a lower concentration of water outside the cell. Diffusion of water is called osmosis Salt water onion has osmosis because water exits the cell.

8 Photosynthesis + Mitochondria+ Chloroplast
O2 + Sugars Googel/images CO2+H20 chloroplast Cell mitochondria

9 Cell Membrane Function
Iodine with starch Starch solution Iodine solution Dialysis tubing cell model Click to add notes!!!!!!!! The membrane is semipermeable. Starch remains inside but iodine diffuses across.
