BIO-COM SYSTEM SUPPORTS AN AEROBIC PROCESS
COMPOSTING DEFINITION Composting is the biological decomposition and stabilization of organic materials. Aerobic composting is the decomposition of organic materials in the presents of oxygen, producing byproducts made up primarily of carbon dioxide, water and heat. Composting as a proces regards production of compost as natural fertilizer as well as biostabilization of organic matter or it’s biodrying Anaerobic composting is the decomposition of organic materials in the absence of oxygen, primarily producing methane, carbon dioxide and numerous other byproducts, including products prone to produce odor problems BIO-COM SYSTEM SUPPORTS AN AEROBIC PROCESS
5
BASIC ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM
is a closed technology with forced aeration of the feed stock and with filtration of the process air that provides: protection of the environment over all period of the process ensuring optimal process conditions monitoring and archiving processs parameters automatic control In Bio-Com System technology the bioreactor is a plastic bag made of three-layers, strong polyethylene film (LDPE).

EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT AERATION OF THE FEED STOCK
In Bio-Com System In Bio-Com system forced aeration creating oxygen environment of the process is provided by air blower in two ways: Dynamic – by air flow through one/two or more perforated pipes laid over all length of the bag Static – by air “soaked” into the feed stock in result of overpressure created in the bag after every air blow cycle Idle – consumption of oxygen by microorganisms

PREPARATION OF FEED STOCK
One of the most important stages of composting is preparation of feed stock. Quality of feed stock determines quality and length of process. This regards all composting technologies. Feed stock should: Contain aerobic microflora Be fragmented Contain correct morphology - C/N Contain moisture of in a range of 35-55% Be porous

ADVANTAGES OF BIO-COM System technology
Provides possibility to fulfill EU BAT recommendations Provides effective area utilization Significantly reduces negative impact on environment Low maintenance requirements and good control of the process Flexibility and reliable equipment Low cost of investment Low running costs
