3 Class Room rules 1. Come to class every day on time (before the bell rings). 2. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself. 3. Follow the direction. 4. Stay on task during all work times. 5. Quietly work on class activity until I signal for your attention. 5. No food in the class room. 6. Pay attention when someone talks to whole class.

4 Grades. Grades for this semester will be as follows,
Warm Up/ Participation – 10% Class work – 30% Homework – 20% Quiz/ class Test – 25% District Assessment %

5 Grading Scale: A B C D Below 70 F

6 Activities. Following are the normal classroom activities.
1. Teacher Directed Instruction. 2. Group Activities./ Project works 3. Independent Works. 4. Quiz /Test.

7 Entering the Classroom:
1. Be in the room before the bell rings. 2. Sharpen your pencil & have your binder and note book ready. (We only use pencil- no pen) 3. Keep all your electronic items including your cell phone switched off 4. Begin working on warm up activity

8 Late work or assignment when student is absent
In case of excused absences, students will have a number of days equal to that of their absence to turn in make-up work without penalty. After the allotted make –up period has passed, late penalties will be put in place. (ex : If a student is absent two days, student has two days from the time she receive the assignment to submit work without penalty. On the third day student will begin accruing penalties.) Student has 5 school days to turn in late work from the day the assignment was due. Each day the assignment is late within that five day window earns a five point penalty. After the five day window has passed student may still turn in an assignment at any point within the grading cycle for a maximum of 60 points.
