Context International scale
Elaboration of the System of National Accounts (SNA) by the United Nations Statistical Commission as a measuring framework of national wealth; Regular updating of the SNA for a consideration of changes in the structure of economies and new methodologies: SNA 1953, 1968, 1993 and 2008; Need to change the base year of national accounts every five (05) or ten (10) years.

Many countries in the world have already implemented new base year in national accounts. Regular change of the base year of National Accounts in: 1959, 1971, and 2005 Now. Obsolescence of the structure of the national economy in base and need to update by taking into consideration new activities (ISIC 4) new methodologies (SNA 2008) and the results of new census (General Census of Population and Housing (2005), survey on employment and the informal sector (2005), General census on enterprises (2009), Cameroon household survey on consumption (2007) Need to develop detailed national accounts in terms of products, activities and institutional sectors to satisfy the various macroeconomic models: ministry of finance (SIPAE); ministry of economy: (MADIBA) and other users.

Conceptual changes Implementation of 2008 SNA in the new basis 2005 and proceeding with implementation of some recommendations of SNA Breakdown of Financial Intermediation Services Indirectly Measured (FISIM) by institutional sector and by industry; The assessment of non life insurance productiong using ajusted allowances; The improvement of household production coverage field; Improvement the treatment of margins separating the margins of trade and transport margins ; elaboration of financial accounts; Inclusion of a part of the immaterial in fixed gross capital formation, particularly databases, software and research and development(R&D)

Updating classification Revision of the nomenclature of activities in accordance with ISIC Rev. 4 and to adapt with economic realities of the country: Some activities are now merged, others split or moved to other elementary positions New data sources Integration of important statistical operations such as: General Census of Population and Housing of 2005, Survey of Employment and the Informal Sector of 2005, Cameroonian household survey of 2007 and the general census of enterprises of 2009 Chaining works N / N-1 to a fixed base Elaboration of national accounts at constant prices of the former year (N / N-1), then chaining to a fixed price of base year 2005 in order to have a time series over the period Back casted work Retropolation of supply and use table and integrated economic accounts table (TCEI) over the period in order to have a consistent and coherent series on a same (SNA 2008).

Results III.1 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Modification of GDP : in terms of level, growth and structure Considering the level, GDP moves from to 8750 billion CFA francs in the former base to billion CFA francs at current prices in the new base . 9 465 billions FCFA (2005 base 2005) G.D.P : +8,2% 8750 billionsFCFA (2005 base 1989/1990)

In terms of structure: the GDP structure has changed between the two sets of accounts, both by sector (primary, secondary and tertiary), by institutional sector, in expenditure (consumption, investment and net exports) Decline in the primary sector (agriculture, livestock and fisheries). The value added of the secondary sectot is slightly lower in the new series

The part of the informal sector including mainly non-market activities of the households in the formation of national wealth is declining in the new database, an average of 46% against 49% in the old series; However, the percentage of informal excluding agriculture has remained stable, around 41% on average, in both series

Results III.1 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Disappearance of fictive sector in the new base in accordance with the breakdown of FISIM Decline in the share of non-financial corporations in GDP (29.4% against 32.1%); Increase in the share of financial corporations (2.3% against 1.3%) and especially non- profit institutions serving households (1.5% against 0.1%)

The level and the structure of gross fixed capital formation have change, both for the private and the public sector Investment rate is around 23% in the new base over the last five years against 19% in the former base; The upward revaluation of gross fixed capital formation in the new series is mainly explained by a good estimation of the investment of households in housing and a better coverage of gross fixed capital formation field

V. Conclusion and prospects
The results show a significant change in the structure of the economy fifteen (15) years after the elaboration of former base according to the 1993 SNA. The National Institute of Statistic realize in the Cameroon household survey on consumption Cameroon is carrying out many census: The General Census of Population and Housing since 2016; The general census of agriculture and livestock since 2016; The general census of enterprises since 2016; The survey on employment and the informal sector in 2017. In this perspective, we are planning to develop a new base in
