What is a split, and how could it affect my schedule?
A split in a schedule occurs in order to give a student an elective choice he or she wanted and is used to balance class sizes. A split can affect your schedule by moving you to a different period with the same teacher and in some cases to a different period with a different teacher. A split only occurs if there is no other way to make your schedule work.
