9 Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
As a resident of Oregon, you are eligible to request a reduced WUE tuition rate of 150% of the resident rate at more than 150 participating institutions in the West. The WUE reduced tuition rate is not automatically awarded to all eligible candidates. Many institutions limit the number of new WUE awards each academic year, so apply early! WUE Oregon 4 year schools: Eastern Oregon University Oregon Institute of Technology Portland State University Southern Oregon University Western Oregon University

10 FAFSA & misconceptions
Early FAFSA  - from U of O – Sept. 1, 2016 Whatever you do, please understand -- and help your families understand -- that tomorrow's availability of the FAFSA for the coming year is not a deadline of any kind.  I've been very surprised to hear how many families think tomorrow represents not just a chance to apply for aid, but a deadline! -- that if they don't submit the FAFSA, they'll already be at some sort of disadvantage.

11 FAFSA – Holly Adaire - TRiO
