3. 1. TERMINATION OF FTAs

“Without prejudice to Article 4, on the day of the accession of each Party of this Agreement to the European Union, this Agreement shall cease to be effective.”

“ On the day of accession of Montenegro to the European Union, this Agreement shall, ipso facto, cease to be effective. ”

Article 51, paragraph 3
“The Parties agree that in the event of any eligible Party becoming a member of the European Union, that Party will withdraw from this Agreement. Withdrawal shall take place at the latest the day before membership takes effect and without any compensation to the other Parties subject to the altered conditions of trade.”

“The Parties agree that, in case of accession of one of the Parties to this Agreement to the European Union, the Agreement will be terminated on the previous day before the date of the accession to the EU.”

“This Agreement is concluded for an unlimited period and this Agreement shall cease to be effective after six months from the day of written notification to the other Party about intention to terminate this Agreement.”
