Homeroom /13/2015 Beginning of Class Procedures: Turn in any signed paperwork to me. The faster you submit your signed paperwork, the faster you’ll receive a locker. Stop bringing backpacks. You can bring a backpack AFTER you get a locker. Leave any backpacks here and get them BEFORE connections. Go get your breakfast NOW. Do not wait. Breakfast is over at 9:15. If you are not eating, read quietly. HOMEROOM = SILENCE

Test Correction Template First, lest Then, answer questions # 1-4 on page 13. #2-4 must be written in COMPLETE SENTENCES. All questions should be written in your book. Show me your work for a grade! When you finish, you will move on to test corrections.

Unit 1 Pre-Test Corrections How did you do? Using your Scantron and the test corrections handout, complete the handout to explain why you selected the answer you selected and why you now know the correct answer. When you finish, you may work on your Interactive Notebooks.

Ticket Out the Door (T.O.T.D.) In your agenda, in the column for today and in the box marked “Language Arts”, answer the following question using a complete sentence or two: What was the most challenging part of the pre-test? What was the easiest part? Remember, you have to show your answer to me to get a “ticket” out of the door! Your homework packet is due tomorrow!

Finish reading pages in your Interactive Reader and Writer workbook. Be sure to answer all of the questions in the margins. Work Session Answer all of the reading questions on page 108 and show me your work for a grade. Complete your Article/Text Features Identification from Monday. Closing Session If you finish early, you may read silently. The paw book summaries are good for extra credit!
