Attendance/Dismissal
Please make sure that students arrive promptly at 7:40 am Absences must be communicated through the front office Dismissal Any changes to a child’s normal dismissal routine must go through the front office by 2:00 pm Please review the bus policy Shannon Changes to normal dismissal routine needs to be called into office or a signed, detailed note with your child

Steps up the clip chart Blue- Good Day Black- Great Job Purple- Outstanding Students are recignized for their outstanding days. Steps down the clip chart Yellow- coaching/redirection Orange- Refocus desk to reflect on choices and making a plan. Red- Refocus desk in another teacher’s classroom. Jen Yellow- Your child has been given a warning and still chose to continue their behavior. They will be redirected by the teacher. Orange-Your child has continued their inappropriate behavior after being warned and redirected. They must fill out a redirection form and take it home for a parent to sign. Red-Your child has continued their inappropriate behavior for a fourth time. They must fill out another redirection form in another teacher’s room and take it home for a parent to sign

Homework Your involvement is key to your child’s success this year.
Parents are a child’s first and most important teacher The most essential things parents do for their children’s education occur at home. Homework is sent home on Mondays - Thursdays. Reading Homework Please read with your child for 20 minutes each night and record your signature each day Please sign your child’s planner Monday – Thursday to show you have read it and they have finished their homework. Homework is graded on completion so please make sure your child completes each page fully. Shannon
