1 Mrs. Hake’s Friday,Nov. 4th edition CLASSROOM news Week in Review: Sneak Preview This week we met Umbie Umbrella for the letter Uu and Larry Lion for the letter Ll. This inspired us to think about umbrellas and leaves and we learned all about the four seasons. We created pictures of each season. It was a treat to work as a group on this “huge” picture. We played a season game where we selected the right season for several sentences and pictures. We wrote what season we like best and what we do and wear in that season. In math, we worked on the numbers 0-5. We also worked on ways to make 5 which introduces us to addition. We did many center activities that focused on seasons such as sorting clothes by seasons and matching pictures of weather to the correct season.
