3. Quality Control
Quality Control is the act of measuring a part and qualifying that the characteristic-dimemnsion that is being manufactured is meeting the operation sheet and blueprint tolerances.
Many different gauges are utilized in this process. Some are micrometers, calipers, steel scale; 6 and 12 inch, dial bores, indicators, coordinate measuring machines-CMM.
