What we need to remember is that the industry is facing the chicken and the egg problem where on one hand publishers wait for agencies to demand 3rd party ad-serving in order to adopt VAST and on the other hand agencies wait for publishers to allow 3rd party ad-serving in order to actually demand it. This situation will get us nowhere.. We all should use a clear message to agencies and publishers: We need to crack together the chicken and egg problem; Adopting the VAST needs to be a joint industry effort!
