Make the final decision Interested in staff social and security needs Try to do what is best Might consult Can be over reliance on the manager and if wrong decisions are made

Laissez-faire Managers: ‘leave well alone’
Allow employees to carry out their work without any interference Can result in employees having little incentive to work Useful in industries where creativity and innovation are important such as in software development
