A total of 401 students participated in last spring’s Smarter Balanced Consortium Summative Assessment (S-BAC) in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
At the district level, 67,000 assessments in grades 3-8 and 11 were administered last spring.

Next steps with supporting our students in Language Arts:
We identified at-risk students (including EL, RSP, 504) early and set goals
Providing appropriate in class interventions to support student needs
K-2nd grade early literacy lessons and progress will be closely monitored through CPAA, WPA and Lexia.
Intervention Specialist will provide extra support to our at-risk students by providing small group instruction targeting specific area
PD will be planned based around staff needs (admin walkthroughs/data collection)
