What are your strengths and weaknesses? Why do you want to work for our company? What is the difference between confidence and overconfidence? What is the difference between hard work and smart work? How do you feel about working nights and weekends? Can you work under pressure? Are you willing to relocate or travel? What are your goals? What motivates you to do a good job? What makes you angry? Give me an example of your creativity. How long would you expect to work for us if hired? Are you not overqualified for this position?

Smile with good initial expression. Wait to sit until offered a chair. Make eye contact, be polite. Sit squarely with good posture Express yourself in clear voice Follow interviewer’s lead Bring specific questions to ask the employer to demonstrate interest in the position/company If an employer asks if there are skills not discussed: seize this opportunity! Be a good listener and be courteous. Thank the interviewer. Don’ts Tell lies Make derogatory remarks about your present or former faculty / employee Afraid to state that you are interested in position Grim face The best job interviews are respectful encounters between interviewer and interviewee
