3 Vocabulary Addends – Are numbers being added.
Sum – Is the answer to an addition problem. Minuend – Is the number being subtracted from. (top number) Subtrahend – Is the number being subtracted. (bottom number) Difference – Is the answer to an subtraction problem. Regrouping – Is when you borrow a number from a higher place value or carry a number to a higher place value.
