5. Observations are statements of fact that can be made about an object or situation.
There are two basic types of observations:
Quantitative
Qualitative

6. Quantitative observations are those that can be measured.
They can be expressed as an amount or number.
These can be proven. So ask yourself “Can I prove this?”

7. Qualitative observations are those that can not specifically be measured using an instrument and are made just by using the senses.
These are our perceptions.
