Labview: I reviewed all the requests for DAQ equipment after our meeting in FLC on Some of you only need handheld thermocouple readers. I will distribute any equipment as you actually need it Priority to those with working rigs or already have Labview on the project and just additional DAQ modules. -$10k worth of new hardware on the way. The Labview hardware stays with me, it is NOT part of the deliverable to the sponsor.

3. Blower Motor: I just rec’d a new 3 phase, 3hp motor and variable speed controller. I’ll need a week to work out final drive pulleys, electrical, etc. -If you are ready to take data on the blower use the current motor and then again on the new system to see what the actual improvement is.
Going forward I will be in FLC during the Wednesday class time for help, advice, etc.
Please me to arrange any other times you’d like my help.

Responsibilities will also include but are not limited to design and drafting as needed for Pressure Operated Electromagnetic Clutch and Brake projects.
The intern should be in an accredited degree program with a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline preferred and is able to work 25 hours per week or more.
