On more posterior sections, the superior boundary was the dorsal curve of parahippocampal gyrus. Large lower arrows show inferior EC landmark boundary in depth of collateral sulcus. Small crossed arrow (A) shows typically close association between location of inferior histological boundary of EC relative to inferior landmark boundary (large arrow).
