Barack Hussein Obama was born August 4, He is the only president to have been born in Hawaii, outside the US. He was the first African -American to serve as president. In Obama enrolled in Harvard Law School. He served as 44th president of the US from 2009 to In his youth , Obama went by nickname Barry. Obama increased US troops in Afghanistan; ended military involvement in the Iraq war, he ordered military involvement in Libya. Military operation resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden. Continued the process of ending US combat operations in Afghanistan. He initiated sanctions against Russia. He brokered nuclear deal with Iran. He normalized US relations with Cuba.

His father was a prominent lawyer and mother served on the board of directors for Bank System. In 1975 , Gates and Paul Allen co- founded Microsoft , which became the world's largest PC(Personal Computer) software company. Gates graduated from Lakeside School in He scored 1590 out of 1600 on the Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SAT) and enrolled at Harvard College in But dropped out the school later in 1974 because he saw an opportunity to start his own computer software company. Since 1987, Gates has been included in the Forbes list of the world's wealthiest people. He was the wealthiest from 1995 to 2007, in 2009, has been since 2014.

As of 2007 , Bill and Melinda Gates were the second most generous philanthropist in America, having given over $28 billion to charity, the couple plan to eventually donate 95 percent of their wealth to charity. In 2016 president Barack Obama honored Gates and his wife Melinda with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for their philanthropic efforts.

The Use of the Present Perfect Tense Form
1. Present Perfect denotes completed action connected with the present. It is often used with the adverbs: just, yet, already , lately, recently, ever, never. She has just returned from town . She hasn’t returned from town yet. We have met several times lately. Have you ever been to London? 2. To denote a completed action the time of which is not over with the following adverbials: today, this month, this year etc. I have seen her today. 3. Expresses an action which began in the past and continuous to the present. I have known Alice for ten years. Note that the time expressions For and since are common with this use. We use for with a period of time, since with a point in time. We’ve lived here for 2 years (a period of time) I haven’t seen her since 1995 (a point in time)

The Past Simple It refers the action to the past. The Past Simple is formed by adding –ed or –d (regular verbs) , or by changing the root vowel or in some ways(irregular verbs) The interrogative and negative forms are formed by means of the auxiliary verb to do (did); did not (didn’t) They left yesterday Did they leave yesterday? They didn’t leave yesterday.

The Past Simple refers to an action that happened at a definite time in the past. Adverbials of time; yesterday, a week, (a month) ago, long ago, last year(Sunday), in 1940…. They married in 1995 It happened long ago. She returned 2 years ago.
