Customer: 7 years old, girl Target audience: ages 5-13, girl or boy Product requirements: educational sustainable fun long-lasting aesthetically pleasing hands on

Conceptual Design Initial design:
Greenhouse with windmill, solar panels, irrigation system, and plant beds Chose design by brainstorming how to include renewable energy into a greenhouse Iterations: Didn’t include windmill or irrigation system 2 long plant beds instead of many Included a removeable roof Initial Design

Final Design Greenhouse w/ watering can & shovel Building procedure:
Laser cut acrylic and glued together pieces Glued on wooden bottom Glued on metal fasteners to roof Taped sides to cover up glue 3-D modeled and printed watering can & shovel Glued in solar panel lights Planted flowers Mainly used acrylic and glue because of translucence & availability 3-D printed watering can and shovel for easy design implantation
