How to Review an Object Each reviewer receives a PowerPoint presentation of the step-by-step online reviewing procedure from Diana Darnell, our fabulous coordinator. For now, the objects are all taken from the resource-rich SDB Education website. Call for new submissions will be made to SDB membership in the near future.
11
Reviewing an Object After familiarizing yourself with the object, you can close out the window it is in, which will take you back to the Object Fact Sheet. Clicking on the “Back” button will take you back to the Review Form that you will need to fill out.
12
Reviewing an Object Comments to Staff (not seen by author) and General Comments to Author boxes are optional. If you write in the General Comments to Author box, your comments will not be posted for 7-10 days so that the author will not know you were a reviewer.
13
Reviewing an Object After completing the boxes, you will need to select a score of either --Accepted --Accepted with revisions --Not accepted Clicking on the “Submit Review” button will send the review to APS/SDB

Lessons Learned Find (or be so lucky to have) someone who is already set up and is WILLING to bring you into the project – APS Education Office: Marsha Matyas and Melinda Lowy Recruit someone who is enthusiastic and committed to do the work: Diana Darnell Accept the reality that even not having to reinvent the process, it is going to take more time than you had planned for many reasons, including availability of the reviewers and technical issues.
