Jesus was alone there for 40 days and 40 nights, with no food

7. Jesus answered him, 'It is written, "Man does not live by bread alone

8. Then the devil brought him to Jerusalem, had him stand on the highest point of the temple, and said to him, 'If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here. For it is written, "He will command his angels to protect you. They will bear you up so that you will not strike your foot against a stone."

9. Jesus answered him, 'It is said, "You are not to put the Lord your God to the test."'

10. Again, the Devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.

11. And the Devil said to him, 'This whole realm has been granted to me, and I can give it to whomever I wish. If you worship me, it shall all be yours.'

Think of a situation when someone might be tempted. Act it out twice, once when they give in to the temptation (and the consequences) and once when they resist temptation (and the consequences).
