There are two stages to the formal College Disciplinary Procedure:
Initial stage = Misconduct
Final Stage = Serious Misconduct
Gross Misconduct – a single serious breach of student expectations leading to suspension or expulsion.

Extended Diploma 18 units equivalent to 3 A levels
Diploma 12 units equivalent to 2 A levels
Certificate 6 units equivalent to 1 A level
Level 2 learners have two exams which they must pass
Work experience 
Homework & private study approx hrs per week

27. How will students be assessed
Mainly coursework at level 3 except Science ( 2 exams 1 controlled assessment)
Level 2 learners have two exams which they must pass
Assessment has two phases learning phase (formative), assessment phase (summative)
One resubmission is allowed per assignment with limited feedback if the teacher feels the student can improve.
Each unit will be split into 4 assignments
Students will be assessed using reports, practical observations/assessments, presentations and word documents

28. Plagiarism
Plagiarism is much more than simple copying from another student, or from books, or from the internet. Ultimately, plagiarism is attempting to pass off other people’s work and ideas as your own.
Consequences:
During the learning phase - internal discipline
Assessment phase – a retake. This limits the grade to a pass

The information recorded includes:
Progression planning – students goals
Student review - students identify areas of strength and areas for improvement
Attendance and Punctuality – This shows a summary of attendance and punctuality by group

To view grades select academic information from the information menu and select a subject to view the grades for

Academic courses will show grade A-U and Vocational Courses will show P (pass), M (merit) or D (distinction):
Green = Above target, Amber = In line with target, Red = Below target
