Objective SWBT will describe key components of the Western Expansion Era through notes and discussion. DO NOW Before the transcontinental railroad, it took about 6 months to travel from St. Louis to California. After the transcontinental railroad it took about 6 days. Now, with automobiles, it takes about 24 hours to travel from St. Louis to California. By jet it takes about 3 hours. Write the following 1) A sentence telling how your life would be different if all we had no railroad, car, or jet for transportation. 2) Two sentences, each providing an example of what you said in your first sentence.
