Almost be abolished…… 16th century ,western medicine was introduced into China; After 1894s, China lost the first sino-japanese war; In 1910s, with a pestilence was raging in in the northeast of China In 1912s, National Government didn’t add traditional medicine into medical course in university.

Almost be abolished…… In 1913s, traditional medicine teams in 19 regions petitioned to the government. Important figures in the cultural field strongly opposed to traditional medicine, which had great impact on government. 1929 March 4th, government announced that the traditional medicine would be abolished. 1929 March 17th, the representative assembly of CTM in China was held;
