3 Specialising People making the most of their skills by concentrating their expertise in a particular field A skilled person will produce more in a given time period, and to a higher quality As output per head increases, so will the total produced in our economy, leading to economic growth.

4 Division of Labour Involves organising employees so that individuals specialise in what they are most efficient in, people specialise in what they are best at. This leads to the business becoming more efficient, using resources in the most economical way possible.
