Learning Scale 4: Not only can I recognize different color categories, I can successfully create my own color wheel that shows those relationships. 3: I can recognize and describe the relationships between colors. 2: I can remember basic information about Color. 1: I understand that Color is an Element of Design.

6 Color An Element of Design Color is produced by reflected light.

7 There is no color without light!
Daylight, or white light, contains light waves for all colors. The absence of light is complete darkness, or black

8 Color Theory Practical knowledge or guidance to color mixing and the visual effects of specific color combinations.

9 Color Wheel An illustrated organization of color hues around a circle that shows color relationships

10 12-Color wheel project You will draw the same arrangement of shapes or images for each of the 12 colors inside the wheel

Create 3 separate designs for your Color Wheel Wedge in your SKB You will pick the best one for your Color Wheel

Measure 4 ¼ inches across the top, 5 ½ inches across the side Connect the two parts Use the Compass to draw a circle with a 4 inch radius Divide your circle into 12 EQUAL sections
