2 Why is Certification needed?
When planning to sell an electronic or electrical product in a country, you must comply with the legal trading requirements governing that product in your targeted market. These obligatory requirements relate to product safety, use of hazardous substances, EMC rules, energy performance and radio equipment. ClickShare devices were tested and are in accordance with all measurement procedures specified in the related local test standards. ClickShare is a wireless presentation system. Therefore ClickShare is in scope of radio equipment certification. The availability of the mandatory radio equipment license or approval from local authorities and necessary product labeling is checked by customs prior to importation. Each country allows to operate radio equipment within selected frequency channels and power levels. This is why ClickShare models come in three different regional flavors, where under we categorized each Country to comply with.
