An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our organisation for a full-time Premier League Sport Manager, a post which sits makes up part of our Senior Management Team structure. Please note, we will only be considering applicants with a teaching qualification.
The Premier League Sport Manager is a brand new position, with the primary focus being the successful development and delivery of a comprehensive offer to local schools, including the Premier League’s flagship ‘Premier League Primary Stars’ project. This position represents an opportunity to play a key role in the development of a comprehensive offer for schools covering sport, numeracy, literacy and PHSE, linking in with our organisational strategy and business plan objectives.
Managing a team consisting of a sport coordinator and delivery coaches, the PL Sport Manager is a strategic role that will ensure quality in all our schools delivery. The post holder will also oversee the running and further development of other schools projects and activities - as well as other ‘core’ activities, including holiday courses and Saturday club provision.
The successful candidate will have a teaching qualification with QTS desirable and will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the national curriculum at Key Stages 1 and 2.
