Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.” Kurt Vonnegut I like this quote… In our environments, we have many different kinds of devices out there that we are responsible for. (Examples). And sometimes it is a challenge keeping up with those devices – knowing their status. In this discussion, we will look at the different kinds of devices that we have in our environments, how we are monitoring their states, and then we’ll look at how we can integrate that monitoring into our ITSM to create an enterprise solution.
