4 KM Lacrosse Mission The mission of KMLC is to develop leadership and team skills in our youth, which will last a lifetime.

5 KM Lacrosse Club Purpose Statement
KMLC exists to provide KM youth and families: A respect for the sport of lacrosse Development & improvement of LAX skills Physical, mental and moral development Promotion of honest game play, good sportsmanship, and fair playing time at all levels

6 KM Lacrosse Goals Prepare athletes for success - the focus:
Individual player development Strong stick skills and many “touches” combine for superior play Not a win at all cost approach Continuous Improvement based on parent/player input

7 KM Lacrosse Goals Skill development goals by level:
Fun - a goal at all levels of play U9’s - Teach the game, rules, and skills U11’s & U13’s - Increase lacrosse IQ such as field awareness and ball movement U15’s - Preparation for the high school program through advanced defenses and offenses

9 MADLAX League – Schedule Details
10-12 game schedule for each member team. Teams may schedule additional games with other MALA teams as time and budget allows. Age-based grouping Based on player’s age as of Sept. 1 Play-date format to minimize travel as many games as possible Multiple a host teams field(s) on a single day When possible, one day per weekend

10 US Lacrosse Code of Conduct
Players, coaches, spectators and parents are to conduct themselves in a manner that “Honors the Game” and demonstrates respect to other players, coaches, officials and spectators. The essential elements in this “Code of Conduct” are HONESTY and INTEGRITY”. “It is only through such conduct that our sport can earn and maintain a positive image and make its full contribution to youth sports in the United States and around the world.”

Wait 24 hours after a game to contact a coach with any issues you want to address.
