4. New token instructions
Import school codes for institution identification once the 2017/18 COD Process Update patch (SU017331) is loaded
Go to the Postsecondary Education Participants System (PEPS) site to access the School File:
Click on the School File link.  
Save the .zip file to your laptop and unzip it.

5. New token instructions
Access the Colleague File Import (FLUL) form and do the following:
• Enter FA.TEXT.RECEIVE.DIR in the Target Directory field.
• Enter SCHFILE.TXT in the Target File Name field.
• Enter ‘Yes’ in the Execute Upload field.
• Click Save
• Click Update.
This takes you to file explorer. Select the file to import and click open.

6. New token instructions
This returns you to FLUL. Click OK. Warning! Do not detail to the SCHFILE.TXT file because it is a very large file and will cause Colleague to get stuck in processing mode.
Open the IPEDS School Codes Import (ISCI) form which will evaluate if a SCHFILE.TXT exists. If so the process does the following:
Deletes all the existing records in the IPEDS.INSTITUTIONS file.
Repopulates the file from the SCHFILE.TXT.
Deletes the SCHFILE.TXT file from the FA.TEXT.RECEIVE.DIR.

7. Other new (or semi-new) features
“Suppress Account Summary Display” is available on FOYP. If you answer “no”, students can see their account balance without switching over to Finance self-service.

“Display Pell LEU “ is available on FOYP. Students can see their PLEU as well as their loan balances on their FA self-service home page.
“Suppress Average Award Package Display” is available on FSAA.

9. FOEC – Electronic Consent
FA.PAPER.COPY.OPT.IN.FLAG resides in the FIN.AID file.
Create an Informer query to find the students who want paper letters

11. Clean Up in your Set Up!
Update rule failure messages on RLDE. Students will see the transmittal rule failure messages now. Be sure they make sense to students!
Ask the appropriate staff to review PERC holds to see which ones they want student to see and what messages students will be able to see.
Check your CMC code descriptions. This is what students will see in their checklist in self-service.
Only include those items on CORE-CCWP that you want students to see.

Run RFBL regularly! Set it up in your process handler to run nightly if possible.

FSSS – creates the descriptions that show on the left-hand side of the SAP screen for students (SAP Status) Note: assigning categories on FSSS will assign the default color. Satisfactory – green Warning – yellow Unsatisfactory - red
FDSP – creates the descriptions that show on the right-hand side of the SAP screen for students (SAP Details)

18. New Import and Awarding Steps
Run FCIB after CRA so students can view missing docs
If you assign counselors, run FACB
Run ACDB to assign the Appl. Complete Date on FASI.
Be careful! Adding the Appl. Complete Date will kick off an to students.
