Wear something Christmassy (it doesn't need to be a jumper, it can be a Santa hat, tinsel etc!). All those wishing to take part must bring in £1 which will be collected during registration. Blazers don’t need to be worn.
All proceeds will go to the charity Project Trust to help Romany and Caitlin raise funds to participate in their overseas teaching projects!

17. Apprenticeship Opportunities 2017

The company is currently recruiting for its training programmes beginning in summer 2017.
Requirements
Manufacturing Apprenticeships.
You must have, or expect to gain 4 National 5s (A-C)/National 4s including English and either Maths or Physics, plus other Technological subjects such as Graphic Communication, Product Design, Craft and Design, Computing, Woodwork or Metalwork.
Manufacturing Technical Apprenticeships
You must have, or expect to gain, a minimum of 2 Highers (A-C), one of which must be Maths or Physics plus another Technological subject at Higher eg Graphic Communication, Product Design, Craft & Design, Tech Studies or Computing plus National 5 English
Design Engineering Technician Apprenticeships
You must have, or expect to gain, a minimum of 3 Highers (A-C) to include Maths and Physics, plus another Higher preferably in a Technological subjects eg Graphic Communication, Product Design, Computing plus National 5 English.
Business Apprenticeships
You must have, or expect to gain, a minimum of 2 Highers (A-C), one of which must be Maths or English, plus a Higher in a Business subject and National 5s (A-C) in English and Maths.

19. Auditions for Dance Courses - 2017 – 2018
Edinburgh College is home to Performing Arts Studio Scotland (PASS).  We offer a diverse professional training experience in our state of the art facilities. Our dance programme has a reputation for producing well rounded professionals who work across many aspects of the dance industry as dancers, choreographers and teachers here and abroad.
We will be holding auditions for the following courses.

20. Dundee Dental Insight Courses
This unique 3 day programme will be running from 20th-22nd and 28th-30th June 2017 (pupils can attend either of these sessions, but not both) and will give S5 students the opportunity to shadow current students within the dental hospital, gain hands on experience in the phantom head room and labs, and also receive talks about the application process with current students reflecting on their experiences of applying to dental school.   
Eligibility
To be eligible the pupil MUST:    
Be in S5   
Be on track to achieve the minimum entrance requirements to study dentistry at the  University of Dundee which can be found at
Provide a suitable reference from a teacher stating why this pupil would be a good candidate for this course which should be ed directly at
Show a keen interest in attending dental insight and motivation to study dentistry.
Applications will be opening on Monday 6th February at 6pm and will close on Sunday 12th February at 6pm. Pupils will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. Please let your Guidance teacher know if you intend to apply.
